TRG
principal and owner Lois Humphreys takes the lead in
successfully implementing TRG’s powerful and compelling
multimedia campaigns. As an elected official and long-time
student of environmental issues, Lois is familiar with the
dynamics of communities and stakeholders, and quickly
identifies the local opportunities and challenges that a
successful effort must target. Lois is unfailingly accessible
and enthusiastically involved in all aspects of projects.
You’ll
benefit from her full attention, and the full range of her
experience. Lois recently retired after serving as a director
for 25 years with the Leucadia Wastewater District. She served
as President of the Board of Directors for 20 years. She has also served as
president of the WateReuse Association, and for 10 years was a
member of the Board of Directors of the Encina Wastewater
Authority. Lois is currently serving as President of the
Inland Empire Chapter of the WateReuse Association for
Riverside/San Bernardino Counties. She has also worked closely
with the California Association of Sanitation Agencies.
Well-known in the community for her dedication to
environmental and education issues, Lois won her party’s
nomination for Congress in 1984.
Serving
both public and private sector clients, Lois has accumulated
substantial experience preparing and implementing public
outreach strategies, including marketing and media advertising
campaigns centered on recycled water, storm water, wastewater,
pollution prevention and conservation.
She is
skilled in facilitating public advisory groups, as well as
developing marketing materials and radio, print and television
advertising. She has been involved with environmental impact
processes and public hearings, and has given numerous
presentations to special interest groups and general
audiences. Lois has also led discussions about environmental
relations and public outreach at state and national
conferences, including Storm Con and conferences of the
WateReuse Association, the California Resource Recovery
Association and the American Water Works Association.
In 1995
she won the San
Diego Business Journal’s
“Women Who Mean Business” award in the environmental category.
Over the years she has also been honored by many agencies and
associations for her contributions to public understanding of
water recycling. TRG itself has been widely recognized for its
environmental work and was listed as one of the “Top Ten
Businesses to Watch” by Entrepreneur Magazine.
Lois
holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of
California, San Diego. |
